Obed Amoabeng is a mechanical engineer and pilot in training who has been captivated by flight for as long as he can remember: the engineering, the freedom, and the lives it connects.
As a frequent traveller, he knew what Canadians put up with: opaque pricing, surprise fees and unreliable schedules. When Lynx Air shut down in 2024, travellers lost one of their few low-cost choices, and he decided to build a better one.
